As a community-owned and cooperatively operated business, co-op employees are some of our greatest assets. Our friendly, dedicated staff possess a wealth of knowledge. They work diligently to provide you with access to the freshest, healthiest foods and the safest, most effective personal health and beauty care products available. Our stores employ people from our surrounding local communities who are passionate about sustainably grown and humanely raised foods; supporting local family farmers, vendors and makers; and nurturing the health of people and the planet. We wouldn’t be here without them!

How long have you worked at the co-op?

4.5 years

How are your personal values reflected in your work?

I believe that food is our greatest connection, and I enjoy creating the space for community to come together to support our local food systems and economy. I enjoy working with people and talking about food, so it is a great marriage of my ideals and interests.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I enjoy working alongside passionate, dedicated staff, and getting to know our regular shoppers. It’s always fun to hear about what people are cooking at home, too!

What are some of your favorite products found at the co-op?

Our produce department is top notch, and I love Beeler’s pork, our deli Caesar salad, and our variety of items available in bulk.

What do you do in your free time?

I love to cook and garden with my family, and I play roller derby.
